The Raptors defeated the visiting Livonia Lightning on Tuesday night by a score of 5-0.
It was a slow start to the game as Abby Scanlan had the only goal of the half. With an assist from Alezya Brown, Scanlan was able to get in 1v1 with the Livonia keeper and chip it over her.
Nicolina Creasey would double the lead early in the second half with an assist from Claire Squicciarini. Squicciarini would then score a hat trick to finish out the Raptors scoring. Her first two were unassisted as she won the ball in the middle third and took on Livonia's defense to get in on goal. Her third goal came from an assist from Halee Passarell.
The Raptors are right back in action on Wednesday, August 4 to take on the Penfield Strikers in a battle for first place.
